What does Customiser hand over to Global Shop Solutions?

A structured BOM first, and a priced quote on top of it. Customiser reads the RFQ package, resolves the incoming items against the shop's own catalogue, applies the shop's labour standards and rate cards, and produces a result where every quantity and cost traces back to the drawing, spreadsheet or scan it was read from.

It leaves as CSV, as an Excel workbook, as a PDF quote and cost breakdown, or through Customiser's REST API. That is the complete set of handoff formats, and it does not change from one system in this section to the next.

How does that land in Global Shop Solutions?

The vendor documents automatic import and export of customer BOMs linked to routers, and an estimating module that generates quotes from single level and BOM estimate routers. A structured BOM is therefore not a foreign object to this ERP; it is a shape the system already takes in and builds a router from.

Global Shop Solutions also publishes a software and application integrations page where the effort of connecting a given application is discussed case by case rather than offered as a download. A Customiser handoff belongs in that same category: a scoped connection using the file and API routes above, agreed during onboarding.

What does the shop still own?

Everything from the accepted quote onward. Estimating, routers, scheduling and job costing keep running in Global Shop Solutions, and the estimate against actual variance a shop already tracks there is unaffected by where the first structured quote came from.

The approval stays with the estimator, and the pricing logic stays with the shop. Customiser exports only what a person has checked against the source document, so nothing lands in the ERP that nobody can defend.

What this integration is not

There is no certification, no partner listing and no endorsement. The routes described here come from Global Shop Solutions' own published documentation about how data enters the system, not from any agreement between the two companies.

Global Shop Solutions also appears in the Customiser comparison section, assessed there as a quoting tool in its own right, because its estimating module is a real alternative to running a separate quoting layer. Both framings are accurate and deliberately kept consistent: an ERP with estimating built in, and a system a Customiser quote can be handed to.
